These culinary delights are traditionally prepared by a team of 18 people from the Montagnel company based on delicious recipes.

We import our (h)onest authentic sausages independently from France and Spain. They come from the French Auvergne and the Spanish Pyrenees, so mountainous (volcanic) regions. In both areas there is a microclimate, with a very low humidity; sublime conditions for the drying process and the cultivation process of the sausages.... They are of very high quality, are tied by hand and do not contain gluten. The white "coating" that you see on the sausages is a benign & healthy mold (just like with blue cheese), created during the drying process....this is also noticeable in the sausages that are provided with a herb coat. This can simply be consumed; in fact; it gives the special taste! Occasionally it can happen that a somewhat gray / greenish coating appears on the mold. Do not worry about this. This is also a healthy mold that can be removed from the sausage with a soft brush or a dry cloth.

    The sausages can be stored for 4 to 6 months at room temperature. You should always remove the paper or plastic bag. Always cut the sausages into thin slices, because then the taste comes out best.
